We’re Charlie + Carrie Kinnison, husband and wife team behind Kinnison Choral Co. When we’re not teaching or wrangling our five children, we spend our time creating choral rehearsal tracks and educational resources for busy directors + teachers like you.
As experienced teachers like you, we used to find ourselves in the classroom often planning at the last minute and never feeling like we accomplished what we wanted to during rehearsals. We know you wear more hats than just “choir director” when you’re leading choirs. Now, we use our own tracks in the classroom and know first hand, along with many other directors around the world, how much of a game changer they are.

Mr. Christopher Alexander is an award-winning composer and arranger from St. Joseph, Missouri. He received his Bachelor of Science in Vocal Music Education degree from Missouri Western State University in 2009. A self-taught pianist, his compositions and arrangements ranging from instrumental works to vocal solo and choral literature. Mr. Alexander has been commissioned numerous times by singing groups and church choirs within the northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas regions. He is also active in musical theatre productions as a music director and pianist. His works have been published with GIA Music Publications, Hal Leonard, Endeavor Music Publishing, Alfred Music Publishing, ECS Publishing, Excelcia Music Publishing, and Heritage Music Press.
He was awarded the St. Joseph Allied Arts Council Mayor’s Award for Artist of the Year in 2016 and 2025. In 2022, he was inducted into the New Generation Singers Hall of Fame.
Mr. Alexander currently serves as the pianist and primary arranger for The New Generation Singers, a Christian singing youth group based in St. Joseph, Missouri. He is a member of NAfME, ACDA, MCDA, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity.
He is available for commissions and conducting events on request.
Adam Paltrowitz is a master educator, composer, conductor, and clinician. During his 21-year tenure as the Director of Choral Activities at Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School in New York, his groups have toured throughout Europe, Canada, and the United States. What makes his choirs unique is his belief that anyone can sing; as a result, his ensembles are always self-selected, while maintaining the highest standard of musical excellence. Adam earned his B.S. in music education from New York University, M.A. in vocal pedagogy from Columbia University – Teacher’s College, and Ed.M. choral conducting from Columbia University – Teacher’s College. His weekly blog, Choral Clarity, has gained a large international audience as it provides a unique perspective to both the role of the choral director and the empowerment of all students. Adam resides in Manhattan with his wife, Blair Goldberg, a professional Broadway actress, and their daughter, Lyla, and son, Nolan.
